MFL MarMac Dollars for Scholars Scholarship awards
MFL MarMac Dollars for Scholars administers and awards scholarships to each graduating senior through a participation based year-long class project. Any graduating senior or early graduate from MFL MarMac High School is eligible to apply. MFL MarMac students graduating from the alternative school are also eligible. The application deadline is March 1st. At that time, a "base amount" is determined depending on the number of student applicants meeting the criteria. In addition, those students who work at various fund-raising events earn points that will lead to more money being awarded to those individuals. Students can earn points through participation by them and/or their parents, and by donating supplies necessary for the events. The money will be released to the recipient upon the successful completion of one semester at an accredited vocational, technical, two or four year college program and enrollment for a second semester.
Other scholarships administered by MFL MarMac Dollars for Scholars
In addition to the scholarship program identified above, MFL MarMac Dollars for Scholars manages and administers the scholarships for a number of other scholarship programs. Some of these scholarships are funded through memorials or trusts, and others are funded by businesses or individual donations.
